Finalising casting choice- Older Nancy Moore

We decided that we would use an older lady Bette, she would portray our idea of an older nancy well. She has a clear voice, which will sound good on camera for the narration, not only this, but she has experience with horses, therefore will be able to emotionally attach herself to what she is saying, therefore she will make our film seem more 'real' as such and enable the audience to connect with her real emotional attachment to the horse, and enable the sequence to be more believable. Bette has light hair, although in older age, most women hair becomes lighter, or widely know a 'grey', the lighter hair makes it clear that 'Nancy' has aged and it also enables her to fit in well with how the media present older females, and she conforms to the mature women stereotype.
